• use literature, cookbooks and ads to explore how food creates individual and global relationships
• explore aspects of food such as production, preparation and consumption

Presentations & Pronunciation

• Prepare for university success by improving your pronunciation, practicing academic presentations and building confidence when speaking in front of a large group.

Reading Intensive

• Prepare for university course expectations by improving critical reading skills and participate in engaging classroom discussions.

EDUC 0819, Teens & Tweens (General Education class, 3 university credits)

• Explore the teen and pre-teen years of human development,
• Use literature, TV, film and articles to explore growth from children to teens to adulthood.
