At Temple University, we provide the academic support you need to succeed in your English-language classes and to become a more proficient English speaker.
Tutoring
Free tutoring is available every week. There is no need to make an appointment; you may just drop in and see a tutor.
Conversation Partners
The best way to learn English is to speak with others. Temple University's Student Success Center offers weekly "Language Tables" a conversation partner program for students learning English and many other languages.
Office Hours
The main office is open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm. You can stop by the office to meet with an administrator anytime. If you want to meet with your instructor, schedule an appointment after class, or email them to schedule an appointment.
Academic Advising
The Center has a dedicated academic advisor who can assist you with any academic problems you might have. Our advisor also can help you with undergraduate and graduate school admissions requirements and processes and meets with all students to discuss their future academic plans.
