Our Levels
The IELP offers 10 levels of instruction from beginner to advanced. Our program allows you to move up until you reach the IELP's highest level. Passing Level 9 of the IELP meets the university undergraduate language requirement.
English test scores are NOT required for admission. When you arrive, our team will help you with placement testing to determine your level.

All students are required to pay a non-refundable fee with their application. Cash cannot be accepted for this fee
Tuition Deposit Fee: $500
Tuition deposit pertains to F1 students and must be paid prior to receiving the I-20. This fee will go toward your first session's tuition upon enrollment. This is a non-refundable fee. If your visa is denied, you may receive a refund if you provide proof of visa denial by submitting the visa denial letter you received from the U.S. embassy in the country you attended the visa interview.

Visa Requirements and FAQ

- If you have completed your high school studies, you are eligible to attend the IELP.
No English test scores are required for admission. When you arrive, you will be tested and placed in an appropriate class level
Must have a valid passport.
Au Pairs are required to have their passport and a high-school diploma
U.S. Permanent residents and U.S. citizens are required to show proof of residency or citizenship status and a high-school diploma
An F-1 visa is needed for you to study full-time at Temple University. With your I-20, you can apply for an F-1 student visa. You will need to submit these documents when applying for an I-20:
A copy of your passport photo identification page
A copy of your high school diploma or proof of university attendance/graduation (transcript or diploma)

- the date of issuance and be less than 6 months old
- type of currency
- specific amount that is currently available in the account
