A Celebration of World Cultures

Join us for our annual Global Engagement Week, a week-long, internationally focused event, designed to spotlight Temple’s international community and to celebrate world cultures from October 20 to October 24, 2025!

Global Engagement Week culminates with our signature Global Gala event. This event will feature a mixture of tabling, food, performances, and more, to highlight Temple's cultural diversity. This year’s Global Gala will take place on Friday, October 24 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the Howard Gittis Student Center, Room 200.

Global Engagement Week Kick-Off

Join us in Founder's Garden to kick off this year's Global Engagement Week, "A Celebration of World Cultures." This year we're partnering with Temple's Anthropology Laboratory and Museum (TALM) to highlight cultural exchange through engaging artifact exhibits, Education Abroad exchange programs, global games, snacks and more. Come experience the richness of world cultures and get a preview of the exciting events happening throughout the week.

Race & The International Student Experience: International Student Voices on Race and Belonging

International Coffee Hour: Ghana

Join us for a lively International Coffee Hour spotlighting Ghana! Discover the beauty of Ghana through traditional drumming, dance and music, colorful Kente cloth displays, and an introduction to Twi and other local languages. Wellness Recharge

Immerse yourself in the practice of yoga known for its dynamic blend of postures, breathwork and mediation to awaken your inner energy. Temple Lingo: Festivals & Celebrations

Temple Anthropology Laboratory and Museum Open House

Global Connections Mixer

Come to the Global Connections Mixer—this year with a special focus on exchange programs. Meet and mingle with Temple students who have studied abroad and be inspired by their stories. This interactive event is perfect for students curious about studying abroad to ask questions, swap stories, get advice and hear about favorite experiences from returned students, including hearing from education abroad peer advisors and ambassadors. Come and explore where in the world Temple will take you!
