Celebrating La Dolce Vita at Main Campus

Join us for Global Engagement Week 2026, taking place October 19–23, as Temple celebrates global connection, cultural exchange, and 60 years of Temple Rome. This year’s theme, Celebrating La Dolce Vita at Main Campus, brings the spirit of Rome to Temple through a week of programs highlighting international experiences, study abroad, language, food, culture, and community.

Throughout the week, students, faculty, staff, and alumni can take part in events including the Global Connections Mixer, International Coffee Hour: Italy, Study Abroad Fair, Global Faculty Panel, Temple Lingo, and more.

The week concludes with our signature Global Gala on Friday, October 23 from 4:00–6:00 p.m. in the Howard Gittis Student Center, Room 200. Enjoy free food, cultural performances, student organizations, and activities celebrating Temple’s global community and Temple Rome’s 60th anniversary.

Temple Lingo

Celebrate the spellbinding myths, legends, and folklore of Rome as well as cultural stories worldwide such as Greek mythology and the magical world of 1001 Nights. Visit language tables and learn fun words and phrases through interactive games, trivia and activities. No language experience needed. Just come ready to explore and imagine!
