Future Students

If you plan to study at Temple University in F-1 or J-1 non-immigrant student status must obtain and submit both an application for admission and an application for a Certificate of Eligibility (I-20/DS-2019). If you hold a non-immigrant status that allows for study, you are not required to apply for a Certificate of Eligibility (I-20/DS-2019.

Prospective students should contact the Temple University Admissions offices to learn more about Temple's academic programs, admissions requirements and the application process.

Students who are requesting F1 or J1 visa sponsorship through Temple University are requested to upload all required materials for the Certificate of Eligibility and supporting documentation. If you have difficulty with that application system, please use the hard copy version.

Graduate International AdmissionsFind your degree program of interest in the Graduate Bulletin and familiarize yourself with its application deadline and admissions requirements. Deadlines vary by program, and your application must be complete by the program's stated deadline. Apply as early as possible — preferably 90 days prior to the stated program deadline and by December 15 if you are interested in being nominated for a fellowship.Check the graduate bullentin for contact details

 

Please note that International Student and Scholar Services does not retain original documents once they are scanned into our system. ISSS cannot return original documents to applicants but may provide electronic copies if requested. All documents should be submitted through our application system.
