With over 20 years of experience in education, I am deeply passionate about working with and supporting students from around the world.
Before becoming the Strategic Enrollment Manager (SEM) at Temple University’s Center for American Language & Culture (TCALC), my career was guided by a lifelong love of people, cultures, and learning. Prior to joining Temple, I worked as a Physics professor and engineer in Venezuela and Syria. My own journey to United States as an international student sparked a lasting passion for global engagement and student development.
This passion has taken me across the world, from Brazil to the Middle East, where I have dedicated my career to recruiting and guiding students as they pursue their academic and professional goals.
In my current role as SEM, I collaborate closely with international partners and students throughout South America and the Middle East, building meaningful cross-cultural relationships that enhance both our programs and the overall student experience.
I hold a Ph.D. in Engineering from Universidad de Carabobo in Venezuela and have extensive experience working in international and cross-cultural settings, including during my professional transition to New Jersey. I am grateful that my role allows me to return to the city where I was born and to help students from around the world discover why Temple University is the right place for them.
