This employment authorization may be granted if you can document that you have experienced a severe and unforseen economic hardship. It allows you to work anywhere off campus up to 20 hours/week. The employment does not need to be related to your major field of study. This employment is recommended by the ISSS and authorized by the US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) and may take between 1 and 5 months. No job offer is needed for this employment.
