Erica Johnston (she/her) is a proud two-time Temple alumna and native Philadelphian. She was a dual undergraduate major in Global & Comparative History and Spanish Literature & Linguistics, then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She has experience teaching English to multilingual learners in K-12, community education and higher education contexts. In Temple University’s College of Education & Human Development, she served as a Career Coach and Grant Manager for a multi-million dollar Department of Education grant, Transforming School L.I.F.E. (Leadership, Instruction, Family Engagement). She is the newest member of the Center for American Language & Culture team where she oversees all aspects of special and short-term programs. She is a language teaching & learning enthusiast and loves to meet students and educators from all over the world! She lives in South Philadelphia with her family including two little ones and dog, Minnie.
