Pathway to your bachelor's degree at Temple University
Academically eligible students with language scores below the university requirement may be eligible for Bridge or Bridge Foundations.
The Bridge Program
The Bridge Program will provide full admission to students with language scores slightly below the requisite. As a fully admitted student, you will enroll in twelve (12) university credits and receive English and academic support to succeed in your classes. This first semester program is ideal for any student who has not studied in an English-only environment and is required for those with slightly lower than requisite scores. All eligible students admitted through the Bridge Program will have immediate access to merit scholarships if they have earned them. International students admitted through the Bridge Program will receive a degree-seeking I-20 for obtaining your F-1 Visa. Permanent residents and citizens of the United States who are admitted through the Bridge Program should complete the FAFSA form to determine eligibility for financial aid.
Bridge Foundations
Temple applicants who fall below the "Bridge Program" requisite language scores may be admitted conditionally through Bridge Foundations.
As a Bridge Foundations student, you will attend full-time English language classes along with one-on-one advising until you are ready to enroll fully at Temple through the Bridge Program.
